The Council.
The Council is a small body drawn from among the founding membership. It oversees the Forum’s editorial independence, the standing rules of the room, and the admissions process.
Council members are named once their organisations have confirmed participation.
Until then, the Forum’s positions are issued in the name of the Council collectively. This protects member organisations during the period in which their accession is being communicated to internal stakeholders, regulators and counsel.
Composition
The Council is constituted with two seats per founding chapter, balanced across sectors. Council seats rotate every two years. The Secretariat does not hold a Council seat.
Responsibilities
- Approves the Forum’s editorial policy and ratifies any changes to the standing rules of the room.
- Confirms the admissions process and the membership eligibility criteria.
- Reviews the annual State of Enterprise AI report prior to release.
- Oversees the Secretariat and the Forum’s external partnerships.
Conflict policy
Council members recuse themselves from any matter involving their own organisation or a direct commercial relationship. The conflict register is reviewed at every Council sitting and made available to members on request.
